Despite what we might be lead to believe, it’s not always easy being a celebrity, especially if you want to settle down to have a family and life throws you a few complications. 1. Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick
As much as she was widely known to have filmed season 5 of Sex and the City whilst pregnant with her first child James, it turns out that Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick decided to use a surrogate for their twin daughters Marion and Tabitha in 2009.

2. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban
Despite making the decision to keep it private from the public at first, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban welcomed their second child Faith Margaret via gestational surrogacy in 2010. The secrecy was apparently in order to protect all those involved, especially their first-born, Sunday Rose, whom Kidman was able to carry naturally in 2008.
